The friendly, motivated staff at EVEDC is continuously endeavoring to improve the economic conditions of the tri-county region. Staff members annually attend many conferences and training sessions to sharpen their skills and learn about national trends within the field. By listening to the ideas and vision of area business and community leaders and bettering their skills daily, the staff at EVEDC always looks to progress the organization forward, thus providing better value to its members. She works with existing businesses in the tri-county region, providing assistance and guidance. Candace also specializes in grant and resource development and assists in attracting new businesses to the area. |

MAKALA WILLIAMS Economic Development Coordinator (402) 371-8142 ext. 2263 | mdostal@evedc.com Makala’s primary duties include the upkeep of the Property databases, working with Entrepreneurs and Business start-ups. Makala also serves as the staff person for the Norfolk Area Recruiters and assists in attracting new businesses to our region. |
