| Primary Duties: |
Perfoms a variety of general office tasks including receptionist duties, i.e. answering and directing incoming calls on a multi-line phone system; pick-up, log and distributing incoming and outgoing mail; prepares frest coffee for daily hospitatly services; performs required record keeping and inventory control functions; prepares presentation materials for meetings, trainings and events; procures supplies, materials and services; assists tribal members seeking info. about affordable housing opportunities; provide administrative support to the Executive Director and managers; assists clients in the completion of intake and eligibility forms; notifies office manager when incidents occur in the workplace, works with staff and management to maintain effective internal controls; performs other duties as assigned. |
| Skills: |
must be able to work with limited supervision; must be customer service orientated and able to plan and organize a heavy clerical workload within acceptable timeframes; knowledge of modern office equipment; must be able to maintain a positive working relationship with clients and visitors; be sensitive to Native American traditions, customs and socioeconomic conditions; must have high school diploma with 2-5 years of clerical experience. |
