| Primary Duties: |
Use CAD equipment to prepare routine layouts and detail drawings, sketches and diagrams. Project details include all product views and dimensions necessary for manufacture of fire truck and apparatus.

| Skills: |
•Minimum of an associate’s degree in a mechanical design discipline or equivalent through design experience with mechanical machinery or components.
•CAD proficiency (preferably AutoCad R-13 or above); minimum two years experience with computer aided mechanical design.
•Solid Works proficiency (preferably 1 or more years of daily experience). Willing to train if employee has a good working knowledge of the program.
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products (primarily Excel, Access and Word).
•Familiarity with mechanical or automotive systems and components through work experience.
•Organizational skills to carry out more than one task simultaneously with only limited supervision.
•Ability to perform rigorous physical activities associated with checking, trouble shooting,
collecting data and information in the shop, or otherwise assisting with requirements of industrial manufacturing tasks on large equipment and in a noisy environment.
